Freedom @ 5:35 PM
I had my last final exam today, now I'm a free woman. YAY. The test was a total bitch though. I spent some time calculating what my absolute maximum mark would be and it was 61% >.< I was quite generous too, so there's a possibility I actually failed it. DAMN YOU ACCOUNTING. But what better way to cheer myself up than yummy food. After the exam went to eat at Maki Maki on Broadway, and had chicken katsu don with spicy tuna sushi roll (shoulda taken a pic!) then Darling Harbour for some waffles at Movenpick.
Mmm. Wish it wasn't so windy today though, my hair kept on landing on my mouth.
Was gonna go drinking and let loose tonight but cbf, gonna go emo in my bed and watch dramas LOL.
Also I dyed my hair with Liese Bubble Dye in Cassis Berry! Not much difference, my hair has a slight reddy tinge to it now but at least my roots are gone :)

HAIRCUT @ 10:37 PM
My hair is really thick. It got to the point where I felt like a helmet was on my head so during a 3 hr uni break today I went to Chinatown with a friend to do something about it.
The place I went to was called Zing, run by some friendly Korean hairdressers who were professional and had excellent service. I even talked to mine about kdramas LOL. I'd definitely go back again :) Good customer service is so important! Here's the haircut:

Please excuse the face, I had uni from 9am to 7.30pm today :(
But it's also the first time I'm satisfied with my haircut. (Um, probably because not much changed haha. Just a few more layers and a trim, also blowdried)
Ooh, and also found out I'll be working at Dexus for the next 6 months as an intern! I'll have fun explaining what sort of company it is to everyone, no one has heard of it ! ><
Well me neither, I had to google xD I'm happy with that placement though. The other intern is someone I'm on okay terms with (he hates kpop and teases me a lot) and a really nice 2nd year BACC works there part time :) It's also in the city, near Town Hall so lunch dates yay. I'm seriously going to expand horizontally this winter, loving all the hot fatty foods mmmm.
One more thing for Sydneysiders: EAT AT MAPPEN IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY. They have the most delicious soba and udon there. But warning, daily cravings will follow after your first time.
It's near Pepper Lunch at Town Hall.

Palty Hair Dye + Formal + Grad cruise @ 2:46 PM
A few days ago I dyed my hair for the first time using
Palty Caramel Brown. It's a good quality, easy to use hairdye that doesn't feel too damaging to the hair and I would definitely use it again! Unfortunately, my noob skills and impatience at applying the dye evenly made one side slightly lighter than the other LOL and other areas kinda uneven in colour but it's barely noticeable since the colour isn't too light. I might redye soon to correct this ><
Here are some 'after' photos. Apologies for the makeup less face, but I guess my formal pics will compensate for it since I was caked in makeup :P

I left the dye in for 45 minutes and it wasnt too uncomfortable, it got itchy sometimes but I just distracted myself by going on tumblr ^^
So if you're dying your hair for the first time by yourself, I HIGHLY recommend getting a friend or a family member help you. It's really hard to reach some areas of the back and see if its applied properly!
Formal pics ^^ It was quite fun, I love seeing everyone dolled up and looking gorgeous :) Though my poor feet died at the end as a result of dancing for hours in my 10cm heels- a very painful experience! Beforehand, I went to Cabramatta to get my hair and makeup done, it took 2 hours! At first I thought the makeup looked wayyy too heavy, and it was in real life, but it turns out nicely in photos ^^ And the guy used so much hairspray on my hair that I needed three doses of conditioner to make my hair soft again haha.

(I'm the one in the black, strapless dress)
On Wednesday, there was a graduation cruise party at Darling Harbour. The night was okay, but if definitely woulda helped if I had some drinks beforehand xp. One thing that peeved me was charging everyone an extra $4 before boarding (like wtf, last minute ripoff) and paying more than necessary to keep our bags for safekeeping. The bags were basically just dumped behind a table -.-. But overall, it was really fun getting ready and hanging out with my friends ^^

I've barely slept in my bed all week, been sleeping over at friends cos it was too dangerous to catch public transport so late at night. I have another sleepover on Saturday to celebrate my friend's birthday, which I really hope I can go to.. but my mum's not too happy with me at the moment. >:/

Oxford Street @ 10:13 AM
I'm going to share some photos I took yesterday whilst walking Oxford Street yesterday! Oxford Street is a street in Sydney known for shopping filled with heaps of cute designer boutiques and chain stores such as Sportsgirl and Dotti. It runs from Sydney CBS all the way to Bondi Junction, but I just walked to Paddington ^^

Hot air balloon cake! It's so pretty, the level of detailing is amazing. I don't think I would be able to eat this T__T

Outside the Alannah Hill store. Love all the oufit coordinates

Cuuute clutch!!
There was another really nice light pink handbag but I felt weird taking photos inside the store LOL

The two prettiest dresses I saw all day!!! And they look 100x better in real life ;_;

Paddington Markets. So many cute stores filled with vintage clothes, jewellery and food! There was this guy at the chocolate stand who offered me and my friend some chocolate and guessing our nationalities. He thought I was korean but when I told him I was Chinese and from HK, he talked to me in Canto. HAHA I was amazed. Also motivation for me to learn other languages!!

This is really pretty. When I took this photo, the man was working on an onion and he wasn't even crying. Wow. So talented :)

Paddington Reservoir. I didn't even know this existed! It's not visible on street level, you have to walk down a flight of stairs, as it's 'sunken'. But it's really relaxing and clean there, a great place to rest amidst the walking and shopping!

While here, I managed to take a snap of my friend's adorable cupcake earrings.

A REALLY CUTE COAT at a vintage store in Newtown. Blurred out my mouth cos my smile was awkward HAHA. I wanted to buy it, but figured there'd be similar (and less pricey) coats at HK when I visit in December. But it was hard to part with it.. I've been looking for that style for a while T__T
I did manage to buy some denim shorts at Dotti for sale though, so that made me feel better LOL.
Going to dye my hair with Palty now : D It's my first time, so hopefully it turns out okay!!

Past few days @ 1:38 PM
Ah, due to some stupid misunderstandings I couldn't go out today so instead I shall update my blog haha. I've been out the past few days, and so tired so before I go handing in resumes and go formal shopping part II this week, I'm actually looking forward to staying in today and watching some k dramas : D
On Friday I went to Burwood hoping to eat Sydney's BEST FRIES but was so disappointed. Waay back in March we went to Cafe Bello and ordered some fries which were perfection... thin and crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside, it was sooo nice. *drool* But it was not the same chips this time. They were still nice, but I don't think it can be claimed as Sydney's best fries again. The search continues ..

Chai latte <3 Whenever this is on the menu, I order it. But if you want the best chai, head to Max Brenner's!! I literally gasped and closed my eyes in bliss when I had their white chocolate chai. It's heaven in a cup.

Camwhoring on the train ^^
We attempted to watch Death Bell 2 but was unsuccessful as my friend got too scared. From what I saw it wasnt too scary nor interesting, but I do want to know the ending! I hope Yoon Si-Yoon didn't die!!!

On Sat, went to Korean BBQ for lunch yumm, I'm craving some beef and kimchi right now! And then went window shopping at Pitt St Mall. Even though I've been twice now I still haven't had the chance to visit all the floors so I want to go back hehe.
Oh! And the New Zealand Natural at Town Hall is offering two scoops of icecream for only $4 as well as other good offers!! I couldn't resist and had cookies and cream + mango.. <3
ps, there's a cute giveaway at
Ice Pandora! ^^

and at
Rinny's Beauty Diary!

The world awaits @ 10:15 PM
FINISHED. DUNZO. ADIOS and a happy GOODBYE to the HSC. May you never be a part of my life again. :)
As expected, the economics test was kind of a bitch. MC was difficult, short answers was mindnumbing and extended response pretty much drew a WTF from everyone and cries of "WHY NOT CHINA CASE STUDY?" That China case study along with the 2010/11 Fed Budget was the only thing I spent time preparing for in the library yesterday. Rawr. Nevertheless, as soon as the test was over, I breathed a huge sigh of relief and any knowledge about globalisation, exchange rates and external stability was quickly being emptied into the recycling bin of my brain! Woo! :D Now my brain is all ready to consume more kpop dramas, animes and books ^^
Before meeting up with my friends to hang out in the city, I went to Hursty to buy my formal dress and pick up contact lens. I WAS SO NERVOUS THAT MY DRESS WAS SOLD OUT! To my luck, there was one in my size left :D I don't know what'd I do if someone bought the last one. I'm quite picky and every other floor length dress I found was either:
1) Too day-time
2) Hideous print (grandma floral, animal print etc)
3) That gross stiff shiny material used for formal dresses along with huge fake diamantes
To be honest, I'm not thaat happy with the dress I got, but meh, it'll do. Maybe I should post a photo up, but I didn't even show my friends today, since they'll see it on formal night haha. But I don't think they even read this blog xD
Okay, went off on a tangent as you do.. uhh yes. So I met up with my friends at the new Pitt Street Mall, which was sooo gorgeous!!!!! Damn I really should have bought my camera today. Went looking for formal dresses (everyone's so fussy like me LOL) but no one really took a liking to anything, went to the apple store and played plants vs. zombies on the ipad (why is this game so popular? haha i think i prefer more fast paced games) then went for dessert at
Passionflower! Everyone has to try the lychee rose icecream flavour, please listen to me haha. It's absolutely gorgeous and refreshing <3
"Gold Digger"

^ I shared that with Victoria. We were silly and cracked up at the name for a while, because right next to it on the menu was "Sugar Mama". LOL.
I think one of my goals in life is to try every single dessert item in Passionflower.
Oh!! I tried on the new circle lens today since I finally got a hold of cleaning solution. It's
Geo Angel Brown, and it's my first pair of circle lens! They're quite comfortable and the colour is very natural. My eyes did look more dolly-like but the funny thing was I was talking to my mother for 10 minutes face to face and she didn't comment at all!! Hmm :O Perhaps I'll do a review of them.. I'm going to sound really noob though hehe. :D
I'm thinking of starting
Sungkwan Scandal tonight, been hearing so many good things about it!
